Jongyoon Alex Park brings a unique blend of financial acumen and healthcare venture leadership to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Tau Medical.

He began his career in the finance sector, spending eight years as an investment banker and venture capitalist, where he played key roles in numerous IPOs, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and funding initiatives. His experience in high-stakes financial transactions laid a strong foundation for his transition into the healthcare industry.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jongyoon went on to help establish two successful venture-backed companies in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and in vitro diagnostics. Under his strategic and financial leadership, both companies achieved listings on the KOSDAQ stock exchange.

Recognized for his ability to accelerate growth in early-stage healthcare companies, Jongyoon joined Tau Medical in 2020, where he oversees operations with a focus on scaling innovation, optimizing resources, and supporting global clinical and regulatory expansion.
